What is ATS-Enabled Reporting?
ATS-enabled reporting is powered by RSC (LI Recruiter + ATS integration) and helps our customers better understand the value of their LTS products. To turn it on, RSC customers just have to hit a simple toggle in Settings. It’s comprised of two reports within LIR reporting: the funnel & source reports. Funnel reporting maps engagement on LinkedIn to hiring outcomes in the ATS, and source reporting compares LinkedIn performance to other customer sources. Customers can also compare their performance to industry & company-size benchmarks across both reports.
How do the Funnel Report & Source Report work?
The Funnel Report shows LinkedIn's influence on ATS hires across standardized stages, calculating Influenced Hires applied to ATS data instead of LTI (which is based on candidate profile changes). The Source Report directly pulls from last touch attribution data in the customers’ ATS, which may make LinkedIn's impact appear smaller than what is shown in the Funnel Report. Turning on “LinkedIn Touch Attribution” in the Source Report helps close potential gaps in customers’ ATS reporting by adding LI attribution for LI influenced candidates who had no previously listed source. That said, Funnel Report data and Source Report data shouldn’t directly align because of the nature of the reports: they filter for and display different insights.
How is the data standardized across the reports?
The metrics presented in our ATS-enabled reports is received via RSC and goes through a LinkedIn standardization process to make reporting consistent for all our customers and enable benchmarking. LinkedIn uses keywords and context to categorize (1) stage data in the funnel report and (2) source data in the source report. In funnel report, you have the option of customizing your stage mapping in Product Settings.
How do is the LinkedIn attribution calculated in the Source Report?
Due to tracking leaks, many job applicants are often attributed to generic sources ("None", "Other", etcetera). By leveraging LinkedIn interactions, we help our customers improve accuracy, and help reduce "null" signals. Our “LinkedIn touch attribution” helps customers understand which candidates and hires were sourced from LinkedIn or from their ATS. The best part? It’s flexible! Within this report, you can choose to view the ATS-enabled Source report in the LinkedIn touch attribution view or in the standardized source data view.
In the LinkedIn touch attribution view, data is collected with the following criteria:
The candidate or hire cannot be attributed to a standardized ATS source (for example, source is other, none or null), and they have taken a hiring funnel "Considering" stage action (e.g. Accepted an InMail, Clicked apply on a LinkedIn Job) on LinkedIn within 90 days prior to applying to the role.
