Security and safety are very important to us here at LinkedIn. To keep your Linkedin.com account protected from bad actors on the internet, we recommend turning on two-factor verification. To do this, go to the “Sign in & security” tab in your LinkedIn.com Settings, click on “Two-step verification” and toggle it on:

LinkedIn is committed to updating our automated defenses to the latest attacks, including AI models that detect and prevent abuse, stop phishing, and help keep member accounts secure. The team is also investing in new features such as identity verification to help give members the confidence that the person or company they’re engaging with is who they say they are.

For additional ways on keeping your account secure, check out the six tips in this post by our VP of Product Management.

Lastly, if you or anyone on your team has issues with account security, please reach out to Support via chat on Linkedin.com or submit a ticket hereIf possible, use your same email address as the one you use for your LinkedIn account. If you’ve done that already, there’s no action to take. We are working to have you up and running as soon as possible. Please don’t create additional LinkedIn accounts as it may lengthen the amount of time required to restore access.

All the best,
