At LinkedIn, we’re always looking for ways to improve how our members interact, engage, and unlock valuable insights.

With that, we are excited to announce the transition the LinkedIn Talent Community to a more flexible format. This change creates a blend of public and private spaces within the Community, giving potential new members the chance to explore and immerse themselves in the content and discussions before signing in to unlock the full experience!

⭐️ Current, Registered Members: Please note that in the new experience, it may appear that you are logged in while viewing publicly available content. To continue enjoying the full Community experience, you may be prompted to log back into the site.

Staying logged in ensures you have full access to posts, images, comments, and all the features our Community offers. We believe this new model will enhance the experience for both current and potential members, creating a more dynamic space and making it easier for newcomers to discover the value of our Community.

What does this mean for new & current members?

  • Easier Access for Visitors: Visitors will now be able to explore select areas of the Community without needing to log in or create an account. This change makes it easier for everyone to discover the value of the Community before deciding to join. The available content will include valuable LinkedIn resources shared by employees, along with publicly accessible materials such as product releases, case studies, blog posts, and LinkedIn statistics.

  • Current Members: Your images, posts, and comments will be visible exclusively to logged-in members, safeguarding your privacy. Additionally, you won't notice any differences in your experience within the Community.

  • Private Member Content: Member-generated content and exclusive resources and perks for our members will only be accessible to those who are logged in. This allows us to provide you with a more personalized, secure experience for everyone.

  • Updated Content Organization: To improve the discoverability and value of content, we will also be refining and reorganizing Community content and their categories during this transition. This simply means some content may live in a different place in our navigation menu at the top.

For more details, you can check out our full FAQ here! The new experience is now live. You shouldn’t notice a difference in your user experience — just make sure you’re logged in to continue enjoying everything that the community has to offer!

Thank you for being a part of the LinkedIn Talent Community. We look forward to the exciting changes ahead. If you have any questions, feel free to comment below!

- The LinkedIn Talent Community Team

@Courtney-Community Manager

This is a fantastic update—thank you and the LinkedIn Team for continuing to evolve the platform in ways that enhance both accessibility and member experience.

The new blend of public and private spaces is a smart move—it lowers the barrier for new members to explore the value of the community while still protecting the privacy and engagement of current members. I especially appreciate the thoughtful approach to content organization and discoverability.

Looking forward to seeing how these changes foster even more meaningful connections and insights. Great work, team!
