👋🏼 I’m Courtney, and I am your Community Manager. I’ve been in the talent & HR SaaS space for over 10 years - as a Customer Success Manager (shout out to CSMs! 🙌🏼), in internal enablement, and the best of both worlds in community-building!

👋🏼 Hi I’m Rachel I work in Insurtech as an HRBP

🌏 I live and work in Wisconsin

😊 Great to meet everyone!

Hello from sunny and hot Austin, Texas! As the National Talent Manager for American Heart Association I work closely with both our Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development partners. This is a new role that focuses on the internal mobility and career growth and enrichment for our staff. It's a perfect match for my skills and experience and I get great joy out of helping others find, prepare for, and go after their perfectly matched role.

I love reading many genres, but Stephen King is my favorite.  Music is a big part of my life and I will travel to hear my favorite artists. Those trips beautifully combine two of my passions…music and travel.

I'm excited to be a part of this community, and I consider it an extension of the LinkedIn Learning platform I enjoy.

Greetings! Excited to be here. I’m LeShan (or Shawn to my friends). I am THE recruiting specialist (read team of 1) for Integrated Supply Network. We’re an automotive tools seller/distributor based in Lakeland FL. Supply chain/automotive aftermarket is the best way to classify what we do. I live in Hampton Virginia currently. I’m here to connect with others in my field, share ideas, and learn.

👋🏻 Hello Talent Community from Indianapolis, IN!  Curious about this community and its function within the platform of LinkedIn.  Have been a user of the LinkedIn platform for a long time and seen many iterations of it over the years.

As a professional platform, LinkedIn is supposed to be different from Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly known as Twitter), Reddit, and so many others.  Does anyone know if MySpace still exists?  😂

As a professional platform (💼📋📊📈📝), that doesn’t mean we have to be stoic 😐, stodgy 😒, or aloof 🙄  from one another.  We are also a community.  Sharing professional best practices, incubating business concepts, driving innovation, and connecting professionals - B2B, candidates to employers, and common business interests is exactly why LinkedIn was initially created by its founders.  As a side note - 📣 LinkedIn… PLEASE FIX GROUPS!!! See me for details!

My goal here is to connect with professionals in our field.  From the description of the community, it appears to be crafted for Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development professionals, two critically important disciplines within the field of Human Resources. As a strategic HR executive and consultant, I value the knowledge, skills, and abilities of my peers to help me add value to my clients.  The field of HR is too expansive for anyone to “know it all”, and it has been that way far longer than AI has been a thing and will only continue to expand long after AI as passed the way of… well…  OK, I’ll say it… Skynet, HAL, and the Cylons! 😃😄😅😂😆🤣

Sometimes, we are in competition with each other as we battle for talent to fill positions with our own companies or that of our clients, or to leverage unique L&D initiatives that set our companies apart from the competition in hopes to retain our people and take talent from competitors.  However, I view this community as neutral ground, where we call can collaborate, share, and grow in our profession.  If you have a question and I feel I can lend value, I’ll answer.  If I have a question, I hope you will respond in kind with value.

Looking forward to mutual and valuable professional interactions!

👋 Hi, everyone! I am Violeta Ilincic, psychologist by education.

I worked for 5 years in public sector and afterwards for 20 (!) years as HR and Organization Director in financial industry (banking sector). I have done it all: from green field investment and start-up bank to enlarging, downsizing, M&A (twice!), but always a kind of pioneer, because I was in charge for building HR and implementing all the processes.

It was part of my identity and it wasn't an easy decision, but as of September, I founded my own agency and I have been hopping to build something substential and relevant for the changing world :)

🌍 I live in Belgrade, Serbia, Europe

💻 I am on LinkedIn for many years and this is my primary network :)

I used Recruiter previosly, but no other L&D tools. Looking forward to change that!

⭐️ I am here because I always strive to do more, different, but meaningfull staff. I found re-shaping future of work inspiring and I see great opportunity in sinergy of our creative assets, agile and AI.

Greetings all,

I’m joining the community on the back of a fantastic Talent Connect Show (05/10/2023). I joined virtually but it didn’t matter, it was really insightful, AI and how it can help recruitment processes was the main topic of discussion. It’s really given me a different spin on the actual benefits of the technology and will be sure to recommend a number of things to senior management within my organisation which will hopefully help us in many way moving forwards! I’d be glad to hear about other peoples experiences from the session.

As for me, I am the sole recruiter for Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW), a INGO (Humanitarian Organisation) operational in over 40 countries globally.

Happy to connect!

Imran B.
