  My name is Dolores Gaut. I’m the Sr. Training Specialist ‍ on our Global Talent Acquisition Operations team at Cognizant, and primarily focus on the Americas but have some crossover with other geos from time to time. I’m not a recruiter, but I work with the most amazing SMEs to bring our recruiters the content they need to thrive no matter what kind of opening they’re working on. I’ve been in L&D (Learning & Development) formally for about 5 years but have 13 years of transferrable experience after playing “musical careers” before finding what I love to do. Fun fact: I was a competitive figure skater as a kid, and for my first job I worked the pro desk, was a skate monitor, and an assistant coach. I taught a couple groups of 3-5 year olds and that’s where I got a taste of what facilitation is.

I’m located in a northeast suburb of Dallas, TX, USA called Richardson, but grew up in Mexico City, Mexico. (I have dual citizenship and fluently speak Spanish.) 

We are using LinkedIn Recruiter, Talent Insights, and Hiring Assistant. I’m digging into the content at the same time as the recruiters and working with the amazing implementation team at LinkedIn (shout out to William, Leila, and Tiffany!) 

I’d love to see our recruiters have an easier time finding talent for niche roles. I’d also love to see them find some efficiencies in their process, and be able to use actionable data to become partners to the HMs they work with. I’d also love to connect with any other L&Ders here to see how they’re using, promoting, and working with LinkedIn to teach the content to users.
