Anyone else find that Recruiter does not have, but should have, certain features that LinkedIn Regular does?

The connect button for one. LinkedIn Regular has the connect and follow options, whereas Recruiter does not. Why? Why do we need to go back and forth between the two to accomplish the most common use of LinkedIn – connecting!

LinkedIn Regular should overlay on top of Recruiter with Recruiter having additional features. I can Recruiter candidates using the Recruiter platform but can’t send them an invite  to connect from said platform.

Anyone else have examples of this?

Hey @Eric Oliveira - Thanks so much for sharing - it’s a great suggestion that could really benefit others, too. I know this has come up in previous posts in the Community. I’d recommend submitting this to our Product Ideas board so our product team and other members can weight in. You’ll be able to track updates and see if others vote on it as well.

Thanks!

I haven’t got LinkedIn Recruiter but is this a tool someone can use from end to end for recruitment or is it just advance search capability?

Hey @shamhussain glad you asked!

LinkedIn Recruiter is a paid subscription that allows companies to access LinkedIn's extensive professional network to find and hire candidates. It offers advanced search filters, InMail messaging, and collaboration features to streamline the hiring process. Essentially, it's a tool that helps recruiters find, engage with, and manage candidates more efficiently.

LinkedIn Recruiter is designed to support various stages of the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, managing applications, and collaborating with hiring teams. However, it may not cover every aspect of end-to-end recruitment, such as onboarding or specific HR functions. It primarily focuses on finding and engaging with talent.

If you don't have a Recruiter subscription, you can contact our Sales team to get a demo of Spotlights and learn more about Recruiter.
