We're testing different versions of your product onboarding experience - so that you can start getting the most out of LinkedIn Recruiter as quickly as possible. Which one feels easier to get started with, and why?

Hi Courtney,

I like option B best as it is focused on what we need to know about LI recruiter. Option A had too many pictures and took away from the information.

Thank you,

Anna

It feels more intuitive and easier to navigate because the onboarding paths are presented upfront, allowing users to quickly choose the experience that best fits their needs. The overall layout is cleaner and more streamlined, making it easier to understand the next steps without feeling overwhelmed by too much information at once.

I also like how the learning resources are grouped and introduced progressively throughout the page. This creates a more guided experience and helps users build confidence before exploring more advanced content. Overall, Option B provides a clearer and more user-friendly onboarding journey.

I prefer Option B because it gives users the flexibility to choose the resources and learning paths that are most relevant to their immediate needs. Recruiters come with varying levels of experience, and a one-size-fits-all onboarding experience may not provide the greatest value. This approach allows users to self-direct their learning journey while still providing clear guidance and access to foundational content.

To make the experience even better, I would suggest incorporating role-based recommendations (e.g., Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Partner, Recruiting Coordinator, Recruiting Manager). Or maybe skills based pathways.

Looks as if option B is definitely taking the lead here 😊
